Blake 285; Brunet III, 1365; Choulant 204; Heirs of Hippocrates 685: «In this compilation of contemporary anatomy, Manget systematically covers the anatomy of the human body, illustrated with 136 full-page engravings, some folded. The last portion of the second volume constitutes an authorized edition of Eustachi's Tabulae anatomicae, which had been first published only three years earlier in Rome»; Walleriana 6215; Wellcome IV, 43. In appendice alla propria opera Manget ripropone le tavole anatomiche di Eustachi, ma «the original plates of the 1714 edition have been re-engraved and slightly reduced, and instead of one figure per plate there are now usually as many as can be crowded in, so that the original forty-seven plates have now been reduced in number to twenty-one» (Heirs of Hippocrates 685).
