Crafted by masters. Collected by connoisseurs.

September opens with an extraordinary event for whisky enthusiasts and collectors: an auction celebrating the artistry of great distillers and the dedication of those who have, over time, gathered and preserved true masterpieces in a bottle.

On this exclusive occasion, Finarte is proud to present a prestigious selection from the private collection of an Italian gentleman — a compilation curated with passion and precision over decades, now unveiled to the public in all its rare beauty. The catalogue includes lots that define excellence: two complete Macallan verticals, an exceptional Connoisseurs Choice collection, numerous Prestonfield labels, and a Springbank selection including a highly sought-after 25-year-old. Also featured are iconic names such as Bowmore, Laphroaig, George & J.G. Smith, Strathisla, and many more symbols of the Scottish Highlands. Further enriching the auction are Japanese and Irish whiskies, completing a truly international offering.

Alongside these rarities, the auction also features unmissable gems such as the historic Moon Import series — including the famed The Costumes — and the refined bottlings by Gordon & MacPhail. Each lot has been selected for its historical significance, quality, and its ability to captivate both seasoned collectors and curious newcomers.

The Art of Whisky is more than an auction: it’s a journey through time and tradition, a tribute to whisky culture that blends passion, research, and memory.

We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday, September 10th at Finarte, Via dei Bossi, for an event destined to mark a milestone in Italian whisky collecting history.
