Introducing Convivium – The Art of the Table Setting, a new event dedicated to those who see the dining table not only as a place for sharing, but also as an expression of style, culture, and personality. For its first edition, scheduled for April 28, the auction will be divided into two sessions - morning and afternoon - offering a program designed to cater to a variety of tastes, needs, and sensibilities.

Convivium appeals to a broad and curious audience: from those who wish to enrich their dining spaces with elegant and refined objects, to those seeking fresher, more accessible pieces that embody a contemporary, lighthearted, and creative sense of conviviality.

The morning session (lots 1–201) offers a dynamic and versatile selection: modern tableware and objects, designed with a younger audience in mind, where design harmonizes with functionality and the pleasure of everyday life. An invitation to enjoy the table with spontaneity, without compromising on taste.

The afternoon session (lots 202–423), on the other hand, takes on a more refined and collector-oriented tone. The catalog features highly prized tableware sets, such as the famous Blue Indianische Blumen from Meissenand the Ming Grey Dragon, alongside important antique silver pieces of great visual impact. Among these, two monumental silver fruit stands stand out, embodying the elegance of the Austro-Hungarian Empire around 1870 and bearing witness to a tradition of craftsmanship of the highest caliber.

Convivium is not just an auction; it is an invitation to rediscover the value of the objects that accompany shared moments, transforming every gathering into an aesthetic and cultural experience.
