On 17 September in Milan, Finarte will stage an auction exclusively dedicated to the wine region favoured by collectors and connoisseurs: Burgundy.

The greatest producers of the Cote d'Or, the most sought-after crus, perfectly preserved bottles belonging to collectors who have selected them with expertise and aged them in ideal conditions, with the respect due to a heritage of great value, not only economic.

The auction features 15 producers who stand at the heart of Burgundy’s history:
Coche-Dury
Domaine Philippe Charlopin-Parizot
Domaine Marc Colin
Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé
Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair
Domaine Dugat-Py
Domaine Dujac
Domaine René Engel
Domaine Fourrier
Domaine des Lambrays
Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg
Emmanuel Rouget
Henri Jayer
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC)
Domaine Méo-Camuzet

Of Burgundy’s 33 Grand Crus, as many as 21 are represented: some even with labels from four different producers, each of them exceptional and rare.

A wide selection of Premier Cru wines of outstanding quality completes the offering, with the white wines being of particular interest.

A common trait of the great Burgundy wines is their ability to express themselves most fully only when time has had a chance to bring out the complexity, depth and breadth of their aromas. Over two-thirds of the bottles at auction have been aged with meticulous care and are now at their recommended tasting interval.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to add remarkable bottles to your collection. A unique moment for true connoisseurs of the world’s most prestigious wine region: Burgundy.
