<p>Ricercata e bella quinta edizione, pubblicata dai figli di Francesco De Franceschi, stampatore di un'edizione dell'opera in-folio illustrata con i blocchi splendidamente intagliati da Johannes Criegher su disegni di Girolamo Porro. Questa edizione riprende le tavole del Criegher con l'aggiunta di un elaborato frontespizio inciso in rame da Valegio raffigurante Vesalio durante una sua lezione di anatomia. La seconda parte ha proprio frontespizio e diverso titolo, e reca la data dell'edizione: <strong>Paolini Fabio</strong>, <em>Universa antiquorum anatome tam ossium, quam partium &amp; externarum, &amp; internarum: ex Rufo Ephesio medico antiquissimo: tribus tabellis explicata..</em>. Venetijs: apud Io. Antonium, &amp; Iacobum de Franciscis, 1604. <em>Heirs of Hippocrates</em> 285: &laquo;This fourth folio edition of the Fabrica shows considerable loss of identity with the 1543 original. The title has changed and some new plates were added by Criegher, the artist, but the text is essentially unchanged.
